Thank you to everyone who came out on Saturday, September 19th to raise money for Jennifer! The show was a huge success and we were able to raise $3,100 for her! I know she is greatly appreciated to everyone who donated and to those who were able to come out and show their support.

On January 18, 2015 we held our first meeting of the year! We discussed the 2015 show bill and some suggestions were made that will be voted on in our up coming meeting on February 15th, so be sure to attend! The two changes that are up for vote include adding in a 20 minute open arena following the completion of class 7, Showmanship 15 & over. This would give the chance for English and Western Pleasure riders to warm-up their horses prior to their class and to give some time for a tack change. In addition it was suggested to replace the Jack Benny/Phyllis Diller class, due to lack of participation, and add in a Ranch Riding class instead.
In addition to the show bill, the club discussed projects that need to be completed prior to the show season including: painting, electrical work, replacement of boards, and replacing the counter inside the cook shack. We also decided on work days that will take place in April on the 18th, 19th, 25th, and 26th, so please plan to come out and help! The club also decided on donating the 2013 Bainbridge Saddle Club blankets that were never sold to the sheriff department, which have already been delivered! A big thank you to Denee Erwin for delivering those for us and the sheriff department greatly appreciated the donation. We are currently looking for 2015 award sponsors, if you know any businesses that would like to donate please let us know! To have their business name with address and phone number listed on our show bill is $50 and for a single line with just the business name or a family's name it is $25. We hope to see everyone at our next meeting! Don't forget that we will be voting on the show bill so be sure to attend! On December 7, 2014 we had our annual Year End Awards Banquet at the Putnam County Fairgrounds. We had a good turn out with lots of food and memories to share about the show season. It was great seeing some of our honorary members there and having a chance to catch up on life with them! A special thank you, to Ed and Pat Beams for bringing in the new edition of the Putnam County Indiana book, which includes old pictures of Bainbridge Saddle Club Members.
Congratulations to all of our new officers and to those who won top exhibitor awards! Below is a list of awards that were not picked up so be sure to pick up your awards at the next meeting!
